******** Calling All Bowlers! ********

The Construction Leadership Council has been challenged to put together a team for the Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon!

We’re looking for team of five (one of you will be team captain) to participate in the Bowl-a-Thon May 4–6. Each team member’s goal is to raise $150 (for each $150 earned you are entered  into a drawing for a five-night stay plus spending money in Mazatlan Mexico). Your registration fee will be covered (generously sponsored by AGC’s Bob Strader), and you’ll get a tee shirt, shoe rental, and two games of bowling. Basically we need you to pester friends, family, colleagues, and co-workers to help support this great organization, and then show off your bowling skills to your teammates!

Junior Achievement is a nonprofit youth organization whose core purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. They work in partnership with schools and businesses to improve knowledge in the areas of business, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, leadership, character, work-related life skills, citizenship, and financial literacy for the nearly 36,000 local students they serve. AGC has supported JA for years, and Portland’s BizTown has the first construction office of any in the U.S. This is their biggest fundraiser of the year.

If you are interested in being on the team, and even the team captain, please let me know. There is a kick-off Happy Hour scheduled for Thursday, March 15, and we’d like to have our team set and raising money LONG before that!

 Thanks,
